2024
Ulster Section Photographic Rally is now Live! The Photographic Rally is all about getting the motorbike out and hopefully travelling new roads and visiting new locations, not forgetting to take your camera with you. This event is open to all riders, you do not have to be a club member to participate. With some of our entries getting more and more artistic feel free to be as creative as you like. All that is required is for you to visit as many of the locations and take a photograph of your bike and the subject at the location, if you have a pillion they are to be included also. This year our chosen charity is CRS "Community Rescue Service" So if you still don't know what to do, between now and the closing date you need to visit as many of the listed locations as you choose, in any order you dictate, by whatever route pleases you, alone or accompanied as you wish. Take a photograph of the nominated subject, be creative if you desire, but include your motorcycle (and pillion passenger if entered). You can download the entry form, Garmin Waypoint File, and access our handy Google Map, and some general information about the rally and it's purpose from this page. Various awards are given to participants at our Club Christmas Dinner and Photographic Rally Awards night, which is open to Rally participants that have submitted an entry to attend. Please note that due to the high costs of postage we are no longer accepting photo Albums or paper photographs, any photo albums or photographs sent in we will not be able to post back to you. All entries are to be in a digital format on a USB drive. A fully digital submission process will be made available and further instructions to be added shortly. To assist the Judges please title each image in the format:- UPR2024-location number-your name- ie for location 1, UPR2024-01-charles carruthers and for location number 6, UPR2024-06-charles carruthers We hope to see you out on the road and at the awards. If the Ulster Section locations are not enough to fill your biking calendar then visit BMW Club Irish Section (google.com) to get more places to visit. |
