Our Christmas dinner and photo rally awards was on Tuesday 6th December at the Templeton Hotel, Templepatrick with around 90 guests attending.
The evening started a little chaotic but soon got well underway with a slight change to the evenings format. Before dinner we had the Photographic Rally Award ceremony presenting badges to those participants in attendance. Our Chairman then presented a cheque for £3,500 to Marie on behalf of Shine, this years nominated Charity. A big thank you to all of you in helping raise this generous amount. After Dinner we then held the Photographic Rally prize giving (see photos section above), presentation of a framed certificate of Benny being accepted into the Iron Butt Society of Ireland. The Chairman and your committee had also decided this year to re-instigate an outstanding contribution award to a non comittee member who had stood out in the past year as doing his or her bit for the club. This year we unanimously voted for Len Wilson to recieve the award, a well deserved recipient. After that the Chairman thanked Jim Hill for all his help and assistance to the club over the past years and as a retirement gift we as a club presented him with a years membership to the club, so hopefully we will see more of him in the coming year. To wrap up the evening we had our customary ballot before heading off into an unusually warm and pleasant night, especially for this time of year.

Through information, events, networking and campaigning we enable people to get the best out of life.
Throughout the year we will be holding several events to help raise funds for this worthwhile charity and would be grateful for your support and donations.
